The humbucker cover is an exact 1959 P.A.F. replica based on a 3D scan of an original 1959 cover. Original grinding and polishing techniques were used to reproduce the same look as vintage covers. No copper layer under the plating.
The bobbins are made from butyrate, just like the bobbins used in the 1950s.
