The humbucker cover is an exact replica of a 1959 P.A.F., based on a 3D scan of an original 1959 cover. All original grinding and polishing techniques were used to achieve the same look as the originals. No copper layer under the plating.
The bobbins are made from butyrate, just like the bobbins used in the 1950s.
The winding pattern replicates the original pattern of the vintage Leesona 102 winding machine.
